The //Unnamed Student Group// was a closed student group in Nicosia in 2009, consisting of young people who frequented [[en:groups:faneromeni|Phaneromeni Square]]. It was formed following the [[en:magazines:falies:falies_offline3:faneromeni_diekdikisi|police crackdown on a street party in the square]] on October 12, 2009. It was self-organized and used the [[en:groups:agrammata|Agrammata]] library for its meetings.

<blockquote>My motivation for starting these meetings stemmed from the events that took place on October 10, 2009. For most of us, it was one of our first real encounters with the police. The incident was shocking and an eye-opening experience.
